We have now been allocated our tickets for the Wimbledon Championships which commence in 2013 on Monday 24th June and conclude on Sunday 7th July.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with this, every registered club is allocated a number of pairs of tickets for Wimbledon which we then distribute through a ballot. All current Adult and Junior affiliate British Tennis Members (BTM’s) at the time of the running of the ballot are eligible to enter. Any members who are not BTMs affiliated to Busby are not permitted to do so.
Once we can confirm the pairs of tickets available we’ll open the ballot and post information on the website (Website menu/Club Management/Wimbledon Draw) and on noticeboards.
If you want some competitive play this year or would just welcome the chance to participate in our practice sessions, our practices for our Ladies Summer Doubles teams start on Tuesday 5 March from 7pm to 9 pm. All welcome
The date for the meeting when all league match dates are agreed has been announced as 5 March. Remember to let your teams’ match secretary know of any time you won’t be available to play so they can factor that into their plans.

Look out for open doors and windows so if you are last to leave make sure everything is locked.
All switches (lights and water heaters) should be off if not in use.
Radiators should normally be switched off at night except for those left on during the winter in case of frost.
Early in January the club will have to put forward teams for the West leagues. If you are interested in running a team, talk to a committee member about becoming involved.
The 2012 AGM went ahead on the 8th December. A new committee was elected and revised fees for the new season agreed. All this information has been updated on this website.
